Our team was delighted to be presented with two prestigious awards on Friday night. The Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards, sponsored by AAG IT Services, saw more than 575 members of the local business community come together at Magna to celebrate important contributions made to the local economy in 2019.
FareShare Yorkshire was given £3,000 by award sponsor Fortem after securing the title of Charity of Year, and later in the evening our team secured another award for Community Impact.
Office & Development Manager Jonathan Williams said “We are really honoured to be chosen as the Chamber’s Charity of the Year. Thank you to Fortem for giving us this donation which will enable us to support our volunteers in a much greater way. Receiving a second award in recognition of our Regional Logistics Solution was a wonderful surprise. Our colleagues Hannah and Andy have worked really hard with our local food partners to make this a terrific success.”
