Grid Iron Meat Co. have set up a Local Giving page supporting FareShare Yorkshire.

In addition to supplying us with quality cooked meats to send out to our fantastic frontline charities and organisations, they have set up a fundraising page allowing individuals to donate money to us.

The North Yorkshire based company sell various meat products on their website, including cuts of pork, lamb and poultry.

They have been providing FareShare Yorkshire with their meat donations, as well as supporting us via social media. Their most recent support, coming through the Local Giving page, is something we are all extremely grateful for.

Head of Development at FareShare Yorkshire, Jonathan Williams, said; 

“We are really grateful to Ian Smith and everyone at the Grid Iron Meat Co. for their generous support of our work.  They donate high quality cooked meats for the hundreds of charities we support and encourage their customers to get behind our pandemic response by supporting us financially.  For every £50 their customers donate, that enables us to deliver 5 tonnes of quality surplus food to vital frontline provisions. All told the brilliant organisations we support are currently feeding over 30,000 people in need each week across Yorkshire, so support like this is greatly appreciated.”
