Lee takes national award for outstanding leadership

One of our amazing volunteers Lee has been given the Leadership in Volunteering Award at the inaugural FareShare UK Volunteer Awards.

Lee has shown outstanding leadership as he supports other volunteers to gain skills and understanding of our warehouse systems. While volunteering at FareShare Yorkshire he has also achieved a QCF in volunteering and developed confidence.

Lee was chosen out of 1,300 volunteers nationwide and the whole team would like to congratulate him on an accolade well deserved!
