Local Giving Fundraising

We are very pleased to announce that we have teamed up with Coronavirus Fund and Local Giving to help with fundraising for our charity.

You are now able to donate via Local Giving and they will match donations by up to an incredible £75, which will help us to deliver our surplus food to over 32,000 individuals. FareShare’s mission is to reduce the amount of landfill and waste by delivering in-date surplus food to organisations and charities; which then enables them to provide nutritious meals to disadvantaged, vulnerable and isolated people.

  • Donating £5 would enable us to deliver enough food for 25 meals.
  • Donating £25 would cover our volunteer costs for 1 van for 1 week.
  • Donating £50 would cover a van’s fuel costs for 1 week so it can deliver 5 tonnes of food.

Between April 2020 and September 2020, we provided more food than the whole of April 2019 to March 2020 thanks to the generosity of our supporters and our hardworking team.
