Harewood House in Leeds is one of the brilliant locations hosting The Great British Food Festival this year, and we have an invite!
Our FullCrumb Kitchen Project Manager, Chris, will be hosting some live cooking sessions during the event on 31stMay.
Harewood sits in the heart of Yorkshire and the home has a wide selection of contemporary art, a rare bird garden, 100 acres of gardens and more.
The Great British Food Festival have numerous dates running through May to September, with Chris joining them at their Leeds event. He takes to the stage at 11am and 2pm, with two live demos planned, showing the benefits of cooking surplus food, as well as cooking two recipes live in front of an audience.
Chris said;
“I’m very excited to be delivering two live cookery demos at this year’s Great British Food Festival. It is a great platform to talk about the amazing work FareShare Yorkshire do, alongside giving people information on how they can get involved. I’ll be showcasing how we use surplus food to support and inspire community cooks, who make delicious and nutritious meals for those who need it most.”
